We weren't in Valencia when the flood hit Valencia on October 29th, 2024, but followed the news with disbelief. Once we returned home, we decided to visit Picanya, one of the towns hardest hit by the floods. We were shocked by the state of the town, with bridges still needing rebuilt, and houses totally destroyed, even three months after the disaster.
