SLOW TRAVEL SINCE 2010
WE’RE MIKE & JÜRGEN
For 91 days at a time, we move to a new place and live like locals, learning about the culture, cuisine and history of our temporary homes.

Slow travel… to an extreme.
Hi, we’re Mike and Jürgen. Since 2010, we’ve been picking a new place in the world to call home for 91 days, and writing about our experiences as we explore. From Savannah to Saigon and Lisbon to Ghana, we stay long enough to find the hidden corners, the local festivals and the restaurants the locals love.
Mike writes the stories and Jürgen takes the photographs, and our newsletter brings the best of both to your inbox: new articles, photos from the road, and news about our books and videos.
You can unsubscribe at any time, and we’ll never share your address with anyone.

This book is a full version of our blog, cleaned up with a curated selection of our very best photos. It’s kind of a guidebook, kind of a travelogue, and is full of ideas and inspirations for your own trip.
“Wow. What can I say but, well done. Now I want to spend my own 91 days (or longer) in Idaho!” James David Reyome, on Amazon
